Built from firsthand campaign experience.
A founder-led political consulting firm created to give serious Republican candidates professional campaign infrastructure at every level of the ballot.
Red Clay began with the grind.
Before founding Red Clay Strategy Group, Austin Futch ran for office himself. Without the budget to hire a professional operation, he handled the doors, phone calls, data, fundraising, messaging, and daily mechanics of campaigning firsthand.
That experience exposed a gap: strong candidates in local and smaller races often need professional campaign infrastructure just as much as larger campaigns, but traditional consulting models can put that help out of reach.
Red Clay was built to close that gap — providing structured, professional support that can begin with a local race and scale to countywide and statewide operations.

Austin Futch
Austin holds a bachelor's degree in Rural Community Development from Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College. His professional background includes work with the Georgia General Assembly and the Speaker Pro Tempore, along with experience on local and statewide campaigns ranging from school board and sheriff to gubernatorial politics.
He also holds training certificates from the Leadership Institute and approaches each engagement with an emphasis on building strong teams, using trusted political relationships, and putting the right specialists around a client when the campaign requires them.
